I time managed 15 employees in the service of high end customers in an auto wash facility. In the five-and-a-half years there my team did over 250, 000 automobiles and served hundreds of Metro Lexus customers. Everyday was a challenge. We had to do sometimes grueling physical work along with maintaining a pro-active positive customer service attitude. On our most productive day we serviced over 400 cars. Typical days averaged 250-300 cars. I learned the meaning of "attitude". I came to work with a loaded-for-bear attitude and expected my employees to bring the same kind of enthusiasm to ther jobs.
We also took care of the maintenance of the wash and de-bugging of electronic, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and mechanical systems. The part I most enjoyed, of course was when all the systems and functions were operational and the crew on top of their game . There canbe no greater feeling than when the man/machine meld works seamlessly together. And we always kept the chief goal in mind- the customer's satisfaction!
