VERY GOOD (4 out of 5)
Aaron Lewis put on another amazing show; HOB was a great venue as always.
Liked: Concerts are always amazing there; the sound is great.
Disliked: There was no Captain Morgans available.
Liked: Cool atmosphere!
Disliked: Spin dip and hard chips.
Liked: Always a great time!
Just saw The Tragically Hip at this fun small venue. I was right up front and didn't really get to check out the show from other angles but I didn't hear anyone complaining after the show. It was a lot like the small venues I see shows at in the Boulder/Denver area.
Would appreciate a few more options for seating. Though I'm still able to get out and about, I have a condition that necessitates sitting down periodically.
Liked: Small enough to have a good view anywhere.
Disliked: Seating around the edge would be nice.
I have attended at least five events in the past year and it was awful the night we saw Eddie Money. He was fabulous, rocking out the house. The restaurant not being able to reserve seating is unacceptable.
Disliked: We were told no dining reservations, however if we used the OpenTable app then we could have after we came there. Also I have secondary lymphedema and counted on utilizing the jump ahead of the line and tables and chairs that were normally available were being used for another event. I will not be revisiting - horrible evening standing all night. I'd be willing to purchase more bar stools myself to donate to the cause of people with conditions such as a broken foot, bad backs or knees. Really disappointing.
Liked: Atmosphere and could accommodate a large group.
Liked: I would go back, we had a great time.
Extremely disappointed with my concert experience! Stone Sour is my favorite band and I thought I was going to get to see them at one of the best venues around. But I was unable to see them at all unless we stood through the whole thing and my girlfriend was unable to do that because of recovering from ACL surgery. So for her, after getting ripped off on tickets through the House of Blues' site, put in seats where she was unable to see, and everything else. well we just think we got screwed! I do want to say the venue is all around a great place - a few bad seats. We just happened to get it stuck to us! F'd up Christmas present.
Liked: Ate lunch there and was treated great by servers and bartenders! Definitely an A+rating for them.
Disliked: My girlfriend was ripped off on tickets BAD! She paid $173 for $90 tickets and then we were sat in a poor section with restrictive views!
