Ohio City restaurants Cleveland
The neighborhood surrounding Cleveland's West Side Market is a foodie paradise booming with great restaurants and bars. You can start, of course, by noshing your way through the various food vendors in the market itself. But step outside and explore. The area spreading out from W. 25th Street and Lorain Avenue is dotted with an array of fine, independent restaurants.
Note: The capsules featured here are based on reviews and features written by cleveland.com's Joe Crea and Marc Bona and The Plain Dealer's John Petkovic, Laura DeMarco and Debbi Snook, and cleveland.com contributors Peter Chakerian and Beth Segal. Photographs are by cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer.
One other note: The City of Cleveland has a rather broad definition of what constitutes Ohio City. But we decided to confine this guide to restaurants and bars in the area around W. 25th Street, GENERALLY bounded by Detroit-Superior on the north, I-90 on the south, W. 44th St. on the west and Columbus Road on the east.
