WEST SIDE MARKET PARKING LOT UPDATES

PROJECT OVERVIEW : The West Side Market Parking Improvement Project will reconfigure and expand the parking lots to create 128 additional parking spaces. Installation of over 40, 000 sf of pervious pavers and new bio-filtration area will aid in reducing storm water from flowing into the sewer system. The entire project is scheduled for completion by December 1, 2016.

PROJECT UPDATES : Phase 1 of the West Side Market Parking Improvement Project has been completed. The Hicks Parking Lot has re-opened to the public, with entry provided off Bridge Avenue. At this time, Phase 2 of the project will commence. Phase 2 includes re-configuring the Lorain Avenue entrance to the main parking lot. During this phase of construction, the majority of the parking spaces in the main lot will remain open. Access to parking will be off of Bridge Avenue and a temporary driveway off of Lorain Avenue. Advance notice signs will be posted to advise which portions of the lot will be off limits.
