Today is the Fifth Anniversary

Tremont Clevelands

Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood is rich in fine dining options. Here are the six Tremont restaurants that made this year's Dealer A-List Dining Guide.

Bac Asian American Bistro and Bar, 2661 West 14th St., Cleveland (Tremont), 216-938-8960. Pan-Asian flavors served in lovely retro-hip-post-Colonial restaurant. (Beth Segal, Special to cleveland.com) Dante, 2247 Professor Ave., Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. 216-274-1200. New York-trained chef Dante Boccuzzi has a European flare for American food. He has established an eating boutique, aimed at every whim: those who just want a little something under $10 to temper a cocktail, folks with small appetites for rich things under $15, those who hunger for a full-blown meal for not much more than $25. (Debbi Snook, The Plain Dealer)

Fahrenheit, 2417 Professor Ave., Cleveland, 216-781-8858. Fahrenheit in Tremont is often mentioned near the top of any list of the city's best, and for good reason. If there is a common thread among chef-owner Rocco Whelan's eclectic dishes, it's the kitchen's ability to highlight a wide range of flavors, both bold and subtle, that beautifully complement the main ingredients. Ginko, 2247 Professor Ave. Cleveland (Tremont); 216-274-1202. This modern and colorful eatery features the talented Taishi Noma, a tall, bespectacled chef with the bearing of a Zen master. To be sure, his fish and rice are worthy of contemplation.(David Farkas, Special to cleveland.com)

Lolita, 900 Literary Road, Cleveland (Tremont); 216-771-5652. Michael Symon's restaurant tempts with cool, hip vibe and fabulously satisfying food. Lolita features spectacular house-cured meats, pizzas and, well, more meat. Symon is unapologetically "meat-centric. Lolita remains true to Lola's casual-yet-chic roots and its Mediterranean-inspired menu, with moderate prices. (David Farkas, Special to cleveland.com)

Parallax, 2179 West 11th St. (Tremont) Cleveland; 216-583-9999. Imaginative contrasts are part of chef Zack Bruell's craft. Showcase for precise executions of diverse dishes, reflecting gastronomic influences of Asian cookery.
