Dr. Agocs is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Palmer College of Chiropractic. He joined the Cleveland in 2007 and is a clinician in the outpatient clinic. Agocs teaches History of Chiropractic and Technique Systems, Thompson Technique and Gonstead Technique, and he also serves as the lead clinician at the Kansas City CARE Clinic. He is certified in Thompson Technique, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, FAKTR-PM and Fascial Movement Taping. Agocs also teaches chiropractic adjusting technique and Fascial Movement Taping at the postgraduate level both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Paul Barlett

Dr. Barlett received his B.S. degree in biology and M.S. degree in biology/physiology from the University of Akron in Ohio. His Ph.D. is from Ohio State University, where his area of study was anatomy/embryology and his research interest was in teratology studying the effects of maternal diabetes on heart development. Barlett completed a two-year post-doctorate program in reproductive toxicology at the Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio. He joined the Cleveland faculty in 1987, and currently serves as dean of pre-clinical education and professor of anatomy in the Basic Sciences Department. Through the years, he has taught all the anatomy classes that are part of the University’s curriculum. His outside interests include competitive power lifting and running.

Dr. Paul Barlett Dr. Jason Bartlett

Dr. Bartlett is a 1988 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He and his wife, Dr. Julia Bartlett, opened a private practice immediately after graduation, which they ran until 2005. Bartlett then accepted a full-time teaching position with Northwestern Health Sciences University. He was involved with several university-related service opportunities, including the student-run Pillsbury House Clinic in Minneapolis and La Clinica Mariposa in Costa Rica. These experiences helped him to develop a deeper understanding of public health issues, which helps to support the material he presents in his Public Health II course. In addition, he is the primary instructor for Tech V Extremity Adjusting and Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation. He assists Dr. Jon Wilson with the Tech III course, which covers Lumbar and Thoracic adjustive techniques, and he manages his assigned interns as a clinician in the outpatient clinic. His outside interests include biking, trout fishing and most outdoor activities. In addition to traditional chiropractic methods, he has great interest and significant postgraduate training in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Bartlett received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1989. Following graduation, she opened and ran a practice with her husband, also a DC, in the St. Paul, Minn., area for 16 years. Drawn towards academia, she began her career in chiropractic education in 1996 at Northwestern Health Sciences University. While at NWHSU, she held many different positions including teacher, director of the University Health Services, and associate dean. With a desire for continued learning, Bartlett completed her diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics and is a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. She is also a current graduate student at the University of Minnesota in Organizational Leadership Policy and Development with emphasis on higher education. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing with her two dogs and doing just about anything with her husband and three grown boys.

Dr. Geracimo Bracho

Dr. Julia BartlettDr. Bracho received his B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and M.S. degree in food science from the University of California, Davis. He also earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from UC Davis, where he later completed a postdoctoral program on Pacific rockfish muscle collagen and collagenases. Prior to joining the faculty at Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1999, Bracho worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center for 10 years. As an associate professor in the Basic Sciences Department, he teaches Biochemistry I, Biochemistry II and Basic Nutrition. While not in the classroom, Bracho enjoys cooking, dancing, playing soccer and woodworking.

Dr. Carl Cleveland

Dr. Carl S. Cleveland III is a fourth generation doctor of chiropractic, grandson of the founders, and the third president of Cleveland Chiropractic College, now Cleveland University-Kansas City. He is a tireless ambassador for the chiropractic profession as represented by his service history. Having served as president of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges and president of the Council on Chiropractic Education, currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the History of Chiropractic, the National Chiropractic Legal Action Fund and the William M. Harris Family Foundation. He is a founding member of the Chiropractic Summit and has served as national spokesperson for the ACA/ICA Alliance for Chiropractic Progress. Dr. Cleveland III teaches Foundations in Philosophy and Science of Chiropractic.

Dr. Deborah Denno

A.S., Lake Land Junior College
D.C., Logan College of Chiropractic

Dr. Denno is a 1989 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. She was in private practice in south-central Missouri for 18 years before joining the Cleveland faculty in January 2008. Denno works as a clinician in the Cleveland Health Center, serves as lead instructor for Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis II, and assistant instructor for Intro to Clinic II.
