Cleveland Ohio Downtown restaurants
Went to Taza Grill on W. 6th before a concert in Playhouse Square; 5:45pm reservations on a Saturday evening. Restaurant was clean and cozy, and well decorated for the Holidays. Welcomed and seated by the owner. Food was fresh and service were very good. My wife and I both got small entrée portions; just the right amount of food with an appetizer or two. Somewhat limited but tasty tap beer. Mixed drink was expensive. Aside from that, we thought the value was outstanding. Restaurant was quiet, so conversation was easy. A large party came in about halfway through our meal; they were seated in a large back room and we could hardly hear them. As a side note, we were staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel on E. 6th in Civic Center. It was about a 15 minute walk over to Taza in the snow. We then walked from Taza to Playhouse Square on E. 14th via Public Square ... about a 20 minute walk ... and a great light show. Highly recommended.
