Monthly Local Food networking and capacity building events similar to the highly successful events conducted by Entrepreneurs 4 Sustainability, will begin Monday, March 2nd, 2015 at 5:30 P.M. at the Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Tasting Room located at 2701 Carroll Avenue
Cleveland, OH 44107.

The purpose of Local Food Mondays is to improve the local food economy by creating a forum for connecting local farmers, distributors, producers, government agencies and the general public. In addition, the events will serve as a Local Food information source. A local group of businesses and non-profits have teamed up to lead the monthly events and include the Cleveland Seed Bank, Great Lakes Brewing Co., The Hummingbird Project, The Refugee Response, Slow Money Cleveland, Sow Food, Spice Acres, and Tunnel Vision Hoops LLC. Responsibilities for the organization, content and facilitation of the events will be shared and feature informative speakers, local food vendors, cash bar, complementary snacks and door prizes.
